Our president, John Uliano, joined the DFF team in 2022 with nearly three decades of manufacturing and operational excellence experience under his belt. Driven to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost via lean principles, leadership and coaching, he holds direct responsibility for the overall management of the company and oversight of its fiscal performance. He is committed to driving the voice of the customer into the organization and ensuring the collaboration of all functions to exceed customer expectations and deliver results.
John has a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in production from Central Connecticut State University. He started his career at the Wiremold Company in West Hartford, where he took on increasing responsibility over 10 years. He also served with progressive responsibility for 8 years at HID Global, and was recognized with the Connecticut Shingo Award twice (bronze and silver), and the National Shingo Medallion twice (silver and gold). The Shingo Award is the world’s highest standard for organizational excellence. Immediately prior to joining DFF, John was the vice president of Lean and Transformation at Tenere, a Cadrex company.
Tara Perino, our VP of Finance, is responsible for leading and managing the complete finance function for DFF. With a strategic focus on business transformation, Tara oversees financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting financial and management reporting and accounting/controls. With clear and concise communication and leadership, she establishes, improves and leverages key performance indicators (KPIs) for the DFF business unit, and represents DFF in financial and business-related matters.
Tara is an accomplished financial professional with more than 15 years of experiences as a senior financial executive, corporate controller and treasury lead. She holds multiple degrees and certifications and is an experienced professional in the manufacturing segment.
Jason Keck is the VP of Operations. He has over (24) years of Operations, Lean Manufacturing and Leadership expertise in Aerospace and Medical contract manufacturing. Jason has a strong record of success achieving operational excellence and building high-performance teams, while inspiring associates to attain personal and professional growth. He has held key positions of diverse scope and complexity across small, mid-market and large-scale manufacturing operations, specializing in the implementation of formal operations management systems, building structure, engagement, and operational execution. Prior to his role at DFF, Mr. Keck’s experiences include multi-site operations and consolidation, growth and sale of a single owner business to private equity, value stream transformation, and facilitation of waste reduction using lean tools. Jason studied at Western Michigan University, and the University of Phoenix.
Keith Campbell is our VP of Sales. In addition to forging strong professional relationships and enhancing operations functions, he thrives on designing and launching strategic, integrated campaigns that tell our company’s and products’ compelling stories to the world. Through his current role and other vast, diversified experience, he has gained a deep appreciation for innovative design solutions and their critical place in today’s global landscape. His contributions are high among the many reasons DFF is one of the top contract manufacturers in the Northeast.
David (Dave) Stickles
David (Dave) Stickles, our VP of Contracts, drives our organization’s strategic financial decisions including contract reviews and negotiations and CapEx investments. In addition, he provides supply chain management and supplier qualification, and monitors and forecasts upcoming levels of demand with customers for Major Accounts.
Active in his community, he has held volunteer positions with local chambers of commerce, rotary and human resources groups, who benefited from the same attention-to-detail and strategic thinking customers of DFF enjoy when working with our company.
David (Dave) Gabanelli
David (Dave) Gabanelli, our VP of Engineering. He is responsible for overseeing and implementing the day-to-day planning and procedures of our busy company. Working closely with plant supervision and team members to monitor purchasing, material, equipment, machine, manpower and lead times, he identifies constraints and schedules new orders to effectively utilize plant resources.
Having served as a Corporal in the United States Army, and studied mechanical engineering, Dave is strategic and disciplined, qualities that serve the company, and clients, well.
Strategic Account Manager
As a United States Air Force veteran and former firefighter who has also worked as a process engineer, Cullen Gardner knows what it takes to create and successfully execute a plan. Joining our team in 2022 as our Strategic Account Manager, he builds upon what he’s learned in his past experiences and leverages his strategic thinking skills to foster meaningful and productive long-term relationships with our customers.
Responsible for successful engagement with end users and necessary internal sectors, Cullen manages and ensures the success of our many customers through ongoing account management and maintenance. He is skilled at creating and executing tactical initiatives to help meet growth objectives and maximize opportunities for our company. Cullen graduated from Northeastern University with a B.S. in advanced manufacturing systems.
